How-to Sync a Bluetooth Headset with your PS3

1. In your PS3's XMB, navigate to the "Settings" icon.
2. Select "Accessory Settings" .
3. Next, select "Manage Bluetooth Devices".
This will show a list of devices that have been paired with your PS3.
4. Select "Register New Device".
The next screen will give you the option to scan for a new device.
I suggest that you set your Bluetooth Headset to pairing mode.
Each headset is different so you will need to look at the manual that came with your headset.
5. Once your headset is in pairing mode, select "Start Scanning".
6. Once the PS3 finds your headset, it will display it on your screen.
7. Hit X to select your headset.
8. You'll receive a prompt for a "Pass Key" for your headset.
You will also find this in your headset manual.
In my case, it was "0000"
9. After entering your pass key and hitting X, you'll be taken back to the device list.
It should show your bluetooth headset along with a blue indicator to the left.
This lets you know that it is currently paired with your PS3.
10. At this point you want to back out one menu and select "Audio Device Settings".
11. Test the audio level of your mic and adjust it accordingly.
12. Also make sure that your headset is selected as the "Input Device" and "Output Device".
13. Select "Ok" to confirm your settings.
14. Enjoy your new Bluetooth Headset!!
